June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize the heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples in Canada. Throughout the month, the City of Port Moody and community partners like PoMoArts will be celebrating with a variety of cultural activities and experiences.

Nineteen community groups and individuals will share $43,000 in funds in 2026 through the City of Port Moody’s Community Grants Program, which has three streams: general community grants; artist grants; and arts, culture, and heritage grants.
