Flags in front of City Hall are flying at half mast to honour the lives of the 215 Indigenous children whose remains were found on the grounds of the former Kamloops residential school. We also honour all Indigenous children who were forced to attend residential schools across British Columbia and across Canada – those whose lives were stolen and those who survived.
On May 25, 2021, the City will be implementing traffic pattern changes on Spring Street to help improve pedestrian, cyclist, and driver safety in the area. .
