Looking for fun, free activities this summer? Come Play in our Parks! Join us for an exciting lineup of sports, crafts, games, face painting, and more in two beautiful Port Moody parks. This drop-in program is perfect for all ages - children, teens, and adults are welcome to join the fun!

Car-Free Day

Port Moody’s Car-Free Day is back! Join us on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets, from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 16, 2026. This vibrant street celebration is filled with local businesses, musicians, delicious food, and family-friendly activities.

Pools are open!

Make a splash this summer at Rocky Point Pool and Westhill Pool. Whether you're cooling off on a hot day or enjoying an evening swim, our pools are the place to be.

Water restrictions in effect

Stage 2 water restrictions are in effect as of July 16. Lawn watering is not permitted. Trees, shrubs, and flower gardens may be watered by sprinkler in Stage 2.

Be bear aware

We live in bear country! Managing access to garbage and other attractants is the most important action to take to keep people and bears safe in our community. If you see a bear in your neighbourhood or park, report it to the B.C. Conservation Officer Service at 1.877.952.7277.
