The B. C. Conservation Officer Service has received reports of an encounter with two cougars, an adult and a young cougar, in the Bert Flinn Park area.
We still have 39 days until summer officially ends, so get outside and make the most of it – but please be a good neighbour when using parks, trails, and other public spaces. Being a good neighbour means showing respect for others and for our natural environment, and continuing to do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Starting this September, the City of Port Moody’s two ice arenas will be available for limited use by sports groups, such as minor hockey teams and skating clubs, with COVID-19 safety plans in place as required by the provincial government. .
This fall, the City will offer a limited number of recreation programs with smaller class sizes. .
