On Monday, September 9, 2019, Port Moody Mayor Rob Vagramov returned from a voluntary leave of absence that has been in effect since Friday, March 29, 2019. Mayor Vagramov resumes his mayoral duties effective immediately.
Construction work for the next phase of the Murray Street Upgrades Project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Hours of work will be 7am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday, with no work on Sundays or statutory holidays.
More than 28,000 people enjoyed Port Moody’s third-annual Car-Free Day, a community celebration that included more than 130 booths presented by local businesses, artisans, and non-profit groups. .
Paving is scheduled on Heritage Mountain Blvd from Turner Creek Drive to David Avenue from August 22 to October 30. Hours of work are 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
