Connect on Canada Day! Head to Rocky Point Park for an afternoon of live music and free, family-friendly activities

Connect on Canada Day! Wednesday July 1, 2026, 12-5pm, Rocky Point Park 2800 Block Port Moody

Connect with family, friends, and neighbours at Port Moody’s Rocky Point Park (2800 block Murray Street) on Canada Day! The City is hosting an afternoon of live music and free, family-friendly activities – join us on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 between 12pm and 5pm.

“Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs to Rocky Point Park for music, food, and fun on July 1!” says Mayor Meghan Lahti. “Visit Pop-Up City Hall and engage with our Recreation and Environment teams, enjoy our fantastic line-up of performers, and participate in an art activity. Council will host a special ceremony at 1:15pm – this is an opportunity for us to celebrate the diverse cultures represented across Canada and recognize the Coast Salish Nations on whose Traditional Territory Port Moody resides. On behalf of Council, I invite you to join us on Canada Day as we learn, share, have fun, and connect!”
