June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize the heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples in Canada. Nineteen community groups and individuals will share $43,000 in funds in 2026 through the City of Port Moody’s Community Grants Program, which has three streams: general community grants; artist grants; and arts, culture, and heritage grants.
