March 22, 2020 - Effective immediately, the City of Port Moody is closing all public recreational facilities in parks including basketball courts, tennis courts, skate parks, bike parks, and sports fields. City staff will be installing signage to inform the public of the closures throughout the day.
In an effort to minimize the financial impact of COVID-19 on residents, the City of Port Moody has extended the March 31, 2020 five per cent penalty deadline for unpaid utility bills to September 30, 2020. .
Effective immediately, the City of Port Moody is closing all public playgrounds until further notice. Parks and public washrooms will remain open to the public.
