City Manager Anna Mathewson presented Port Moody’s 2024 Annual Report to members of Council at the June 24, 2025 Regular Council Meeting. The City publishes an annual report each year in accordance with British Columbia’s Community Charter. The 2024 Annual Report contains the City’s financial statements, an independent auditor’s report, and a comprehensive statistical analysis.
Property taxes are due July 2, 2025. Be sure to mark your calendar, as unpaid property taxes will be subject to a five per cent penalty after July 2 and a second five per cent penalty after September 15. Penalties apply to all outstanding amounts, even unclaimed home owner grants.
The City is pleased to share with the community that BC Hydro has installed new electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure at two busy hubs, the Port Moody Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Road) and Inlet Park (3024 Murray Street).
Starting Wednesday, June 18, 2025, visitors to the City of Port Moody’s website – portmoody.ca – will experience a refreshed site.
