Under Bylaw 2835, Fire Prevention and Emergency Response, City of Port Moody Fire-Rescue announces a ban on the use of outdoor cooking appliances of any kind in City parks, forested lands, and public green spaces. This ban is effective immediately until further notice.
City Council has given the green light to bike sharing in Port Moody through a non-exclusive, one-year agreement with service provider U-bicycle. “As a regular cyclist, I know the value of having access to a bike to do short trips and even fill in the ‘last mile’ on longer trips, such as visitors arriving by SkyTrain,” says Mayor Mike Clay.
