More than 28,000 people enjoyed Port Moody’s third-annual Car-Free Day, a community celebration that included more than 130 booths presented by local businesses, artisans, and non-profit groups. .
Paving is scheduled on Heritage Mountain Blvd from Turner Creek Drive to David Avenue from August 22 to October 30. Hours of work are 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
The City reminds residents and commuters that St. Johns Street, between Douglas and Moody streets, will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 6am to 10pm on Sunday, August 18, 2019 for Car-Free Day.
