Under City of Port Moody Bylaw 2835 (Port Moody Fire Protection and Emergency Response), and as a result of the local fire hazard rating reaching “extreme,” all cooking and warming appliances are banned in City parks, forested lands, and public green spaces, effective 12 noon, Thursday, July 22, 2021. This ban will remain in effect until otherwise noted.
It has come to our attention that some Port Moody residents have received texts, emails, or phone calls inviting them to participate in a survey from a market research company called Tell City Hall. Please be aware that the City of Port Moody has no connection with Tell City Hall and we have not hired this company to do any surveys or research on our behalf.
