Starting this September, the City of Port Moody’s two ice arenas will be available for limited use by sports groups, such as minor hockey teams and skating clubs, with COVID-19 safety plans in place as required by the provincial government. .
This fall, the City will offer a limited number of recreation programs with smaller class sizes. .
Starting Monday, July 13, 2020, the City of Port Moody will offer in-person service at City Hall and starting Tuesday, July 14, 2020, Council meetings will return to the Inlet Theatre with modified access for members of the public. .
The City of Port Moody has increased its fines for certain infractions under the. Street, Traffic, and Public Places Bylaw (Number 1528).

Port Moody City Council has proclaimed June 14 to 20 to be Grad 2020 Week to recognize and celebrate our local students who are graduating from high school during the global COVID-19 pandemic. With the cancellation of traditional graduation ceremonies and celebrations due to COVID-19, the City wants to ensure the milestone is still acknowledged in special ways.
