Candidate Profile: Reece Mack (Port Moody Voice)
Running for: Councillor
As a communications professional, public servant, and single dad, I know the daily juggle of raising a family in Port Moody, and I know residents deserve a City Hall that works as hard as they do.
In my career, I've spent years helping public bodies communicate clearly, and my master's thesis examined what happens when that communication fails and trust erodes. I believe good policy comes from residents and government working together, and Port Moody Voice makes that possible.
When I'm not working, you'll find me at a musical, throwing pottery, paddleboarding, or exploring BC with my daughter. Port Moody's mix of nature and community is a big part of why I love raising my family here.
This election will define our quality of life for future generations. Our city needs more homes families can grow into, and seniors can age into, and the infrastructure and amenities to support them.
We need leadership that listens to residents, builds housing for families, not investors, and makes sure growth comes with parks, roads, and services that keep up with it.
I'm running for Council with Port Moody Voice to put residents back at the centre of the conversation and bring practical problem-solving to City Hall, one that prioritizes the long-term well-being of local families and businesses.
A vote for me means tackling traffic congestion, restoring real public input in city decisions, and keeping City finances in check so residents aren't left footing the bill and wondering why.
