Port Moody’s next general local election will take place on October 17, 2026
City councils and school boards make decisions on issues that directly affect you and your family, such as utilities and roadwork, parks and recreation, community development, and the policies and budget for the local school district.
On October 17, 2026, the City of Port Moody is holding a general local election to elect:
- one (1) mayor;
- six (6) councillors; and
- two (2) school trustees.
Elected individuals will serve a four-year term from November 2026 to October 2030.
