Public Swimming

Make a splash this summer at Rocky Point Pool (2800 Murray St) and Westhill Pool (203 Westhill Pl). Whether you're cooling off on a hot day or enjoying an evening swim, our pools are the place to be.

Westhill Pool

June 15 to 25
Monday to Friday: 3–5pm and 6–8pm
Saturday and Sunday: 1–5pm and 6–8pm

Westhill Pool is open daily. Drop in for an afternoon swim or enjoy the evening sun.

Lap swimming is available during public swims (one lane assigned).

Rocky Point Pool

Opening for Rocky Point Pool will be delayed for additional maintenance work. We anticipate this work will be completed over the next couple of weeks, with the pool opening on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Admission

$2 per person (tax included) per session, all ages. Monthly fitness members can access both pools as part of their membership. Purchase memberships at the Recreation Complex.

Lap swimming at Westhill Pool

Aquafit at Rocky Point Pool

  • Starting July 7 | Tuesdays and Thursdays | 6:15–7:15pm

Enjoy a low-impact, full-body workout with cardio and resistance exercises in shallow to chest-deep water. Water dumbbells are provided, with modifications available for all fitness levels, rain or shine.

Summer pool activities

Enjoy games and weekly themes for all ages during Terrific Tuesdays, Wacky Wednesdays, and Fantastic Fridays from 3–5pm. Regular admission fees apply.

Information for groups and camps

What to expect:

  • First-come, first-served: All public swims operate on a first-come, first-served basis, including groups who have communicated their intent to attend. There are no guarantees for group entry; everyone must follow first-come, first-served procedures.
  • Admission purchase: Admissions can be bought individually or collectively for your group on your chosen date. Payments are made at the time of entry, and all swimmers must be present. Late arrivals will not be allowed to bypass the line or be paid for in advance.
  • Admission fee: The admission fee applies to everyone entering the facility gates, whether they are swimming or just observing.
  • Capacity limits: Pools may reach capacity. Entrance gates will close until space becomes available.
  • Supervision requirements: All children under 7 years must be accompanied in the water and within arm's reach of a responsible adult, with a ratio of 2 children to 1 adult. Children who do not meet the age requirement of 7 years and older must wear a wristband.
  • Food and setup: Food is welcome inside the gates in the grassy area.

Supervision of Children

  • Children under 7 years must be accompanied in the water and within arm’s reach of a responsible person aged 16 or older.

  • A maximum of two children may be supervised by one caregiver.

  • Children who do not meet the minimum age of 7 must wear a designated wristband.

  • Children must be at least 10 years old to visit the pool without supervision.


Before Entering the Pool
Please ensure the following:

  • You are not ill (e.g., diarrhea, vomiting, open sores, head colds, ear infections, or discharging ears/noses). Stay out of the pool until 48 hours after symptoms have stopped.

  • You take a cleansing shower.

  • You wear clean, appropriate swimwear.

  • Infants and toddlers must wear swim diapers and/or snug-fitting elastic swim pants.


While in the Pool

  • Follow all posted rules, the facility’s code of conduct, and directions from lifeguards.

  • Do not contaminate or foul the pool (e.g., urinating or defecating in the water).

  • No running, fighting, or unsafe play.

  • Diving is only permitted in designated areas.

  • Do not bring glass containers into the pool area.

  • Do not use or be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.


Please Notify a Lifeguard If

  • You or someone else experiences an injury in the pool area.

  • The pool has been contaminated or fouled.
