Rocky Point and Westhill Pools are now closed until summer 2021.
Aquatics Summer 2020
Westhill Pool will be open seven days a week throughout the summer, with designated times to book length swimming, water running, and friends and family leisure swimming. The pool at Rocky Point Park will remain closed for the summer.
Participants must book swim sessions through our online booking system. Swimming reservations start on Friday mornings at 8am for the following week (Monday to Sunday).
You can book length swimming and water running for up to two people or zone swimming for friends and family for up to 6 people.

Length swim and water running:
- Flat fee of $2 for single swimmer, with an additional $1 if a second person is booked
- Length swims and water running sessions are 45 minutes.

Zone swimming for family and friends
- There are 6 zones available, including the tot pool
- Flat fee of $10 per zone
- Maximum 6 people per zone
- The following Pool Toys are now permitted; sinky toys, inflatable flotation rings, water wings, pool noodles, Lifejackets (PFD’s)
- Children seven and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult at all times (maximum of two children per adult)

Prior to arrival |
- stay home if you’re feeling sick
- please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled time
- please wait in the marked zone outside the gate until a staff member greets you
- the water fountain will not be available – you may bring your own water in a reusable bottle (no glass bottles allowed)
- the change room area will be closed – please wear your swimsuit to and from the pool (you’ll be able to place any belongings in a waterproof bin)
- there will be a washroom available for use, but we encourage you to use the washroom at home before you arrive at the pool

While at the pool |
- viewers accompanying swimmers will be required to remain outside the facility
- you must shower before entering the pool
- there will be no shared equipment or toys for use at this time – please bring your own kickboard, pull buoy, hand paddles, goggles, or running belt
- the following pool toys are permitted; sinky toys, inflatable flotation rings, water wings and pool noodles
- life jackets will be permitted and available upon request
- you will be asked to leave immediately after your session to allow time for cleaning before the next session (showers will not be available at this time)
- dive boards will be open for Friends and Family drop-in swimming only on a 10-minute rotation by zone

We will meet all provincial and WorkSafeBC guidelines and public health protocols. Physical distancing measures and directional signage will be in place at the pool. All touch points (e.g. shower handles, bathroom door knobs, waterproof bins, diving board railings) will be thoroughly cleaned several times each day.
Based on information from the BC Centre for Disease Control, there is no evidence COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools or water play areas.
Please note that hours and procedures may be adjusted over time as users and staff become accustomed to the new measures.
