Recycling Collection
The City of Port Moody collects recycling every other week. Mix all your recyclables together in your recycling cart - you don't need to sort items or use bags. Make sure all your recyclables are rinsed of food. Learn what you can recycle and what happens to your recycling once it’s collected from Recycle BC.
View the 2025 Waste Collection Schedule. On your collection day, place your carts at the curb between 5:30 and 7:30am. The lid on your cart needs to shut completely and make sure to unclip your bear locks.
Submit a service request or call 604.469.4574 if you have questions about your carts or collection.

Items that can go in your recycling cart
The United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre includes a full-service recycling depot where visitors can drop off materials for free, including batteries, electronics, cardboard, metal, expanded polystyrene, plastic containers and bags, light fixtures, cooking oil, books, textiles and more.
Please send us an email at recycle@portmoody.ca or call 604.469.4574 to report a lost or damaged recycling cart.
