School District No. 43 is partnering with both Coquitlam Fire Rescue and Port Moody Fire Rescue to offer two different junior firefighting programs for 2026. These programs are open to SD43 students in grades 11 and 12.

Port Moody Fire Rescue supports Camp Ignite Mentorship Program. If you're a girl who's in Grade 11 or 12, apply to learn more about firefighting. You'll learn about fitness, nutrition, health, and teamwork. Stay tuned for information on the 2026 Camp Ignite program.

Join your friends and neighbours over the Canada Day long weekend to eat pancakes and raise funds for causes supported by the Port Moody Firefighters Charitable Society. 

Port Moody Fire Rescue off-duty IAFF Local 2399 members shake the boot to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy annually in the fall at Suter Brook Village, NewPort Village, and in Moody Centre.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Inlet Centre Fire Hall, 150 Newport Drive from November 29, 2026 until December 14, 2026. Your donations will benefit Share Family & Community Services. 

Port Moody Firefighters Local 2399 are chipping Christmas trees this January 3 & 4, 2026 by donation ($5 minimum). Please remove all tinsel and decorations before bringing your tree down. Tree pickup is available, please email burnfund2399@gmail.com for more information. All proceeds go to the BC Professional Firefighter's Burn Fund.
