Ten community groups to receive funds through Port Moody grant program in 2021

Ten community groups will share $18,250 in available funds through the City of Port Moody’s Community Grant Program this year.

The Community Grant Program provides financial assistance to community groups and non-profit organizations that contribute to the general interest and benefit of local residents and businesses. Port Moody’s Citizen Advisory Group (CAG) reviewed 12 eligible applications received in February 2021, and made a recommendation to Council as to which applications should be approved. The CAG is an advisory body made up of more than 250 Port Moody residents of all ages who volunteer their time to provide input on City issues. Council approved the final awards at a Regular Meeting of Council on June 15, 2021.
