Access online or in-person services to manage accounts, avoid late payments in case of postal strike
In advance of a potential Canada Post strike that could start on May 23, 2025, we’d like to encourage you to access the City of Port Moody’s online services anytime, and in-person services during business hours, to manage your City accounts and avoid late bill payments.
Need to pay your property tax bill? If you send your payment via letter mail and we receive it after the due date of July 2, 2025 – even if the envelope is postmarked with an earlier date – it will be considered late and applicable penalties will apply.
Here are some alternative ways to pay:
- online via the City’s website using a credit card;
- online via your bank’s telephone or internet banking services;
- in-person at your bank;
- 24-hour Finance drop box at the rear entrance to City Hall (100 Newport Drive); and
- in-person counter service at City Hall.

This includes:
- postcards delivered to select addresses (where applicable);
- news stories published at portmoody.ca/news and sent to subscribers via email (sign up today to have City news sent straight to your inbox);
- digital notices published at portmoody.ca/planningnotices and portmoody.ca/publicnotices;
- social media posts (facebook.com/CityofPortMoody and x.com/CityofPoMo); and
- notices posted to the public bulletin board in the lobby of Port Moody City Hall.
