Nominate a deserving candidate for the City’s new COVID-19 Community Service Award

Port Moody City Council has created the COVID-19 Community Service Award to recognize individuals, community groups, or businesses that have gone above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic to serve neighbours in need, vulnerable groups, or the broader community. Visit portmoody.ca/covid19award to nominate a deserving candidate today. 

Nominees must:

  • have been a resident of Port Moody at the time of the noted achievement or reason for nomination; and
  • have demonstrated leadership, dedication, innovation, and creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic in one of the following ways:
    • performed volunteer work, beyond the normal scope of their professional duties, that had a measurable positive impact in our community; or
    • organized or co-ordinated a group of volunteers who performed work that had a measurable positive impact in our community. 

Nominations are accepted year-round. Fill out a nomination form online or pick up a paper form at City Hall (100 Newport Drive). 

Award recipients will be acknowledged at a Council meeting and receive a certificate of appreciation.
