Initial ballot count complete, full preliminary results available at portmoody.ca/vote

The initial count of all ballots cast in the 2022 Port Moody General Local Election has been completed and full preliminary election results are now available at portmoody.ca/vote. 

Please note the preliminary results have not been certified. Official election results will be declared and posted online at portmoody.ca/vote at approximately 4pm on Monday, October 17, 2022. We’ll post an update on our News page when official election results are available. 

The City of Port Moody held a general local election to elect one mayor, six councillors, and two school trustees for a four-year term. Eligible voters could vote by mail, at one of two advance polls, or on General Voting Day (October 15, 2022). 

Preliminary voter turnout numbers show 8,989 ballots cast out of 24,775 eligible voters for a turnout of approximately 36.28 per cent.
