Find preliminary election results at portmoody.ca/vote

October 15, 2022 at 8:05pm – Polls have closed for the 2022 Port Moody General Local Election and the initial count of all ballots, including mail ballots, is in progress. The Chief Election Officer is posting preliminary election results online at portmoody.ca/vote as they become available.

Tallies will be reported for each vote tabulator machine used in the election – two for advance polls, one for mail ballots, and seven for General Voting Day polling locations. Please refresh web pages often to ensure you are seeing the most up-to-date information.

You can also view preliminary election results as they become available onscreen at the Inlet Theatre (100 Newport Drive). If the initial count is completed before midnight on October 15, 2022, the theatre will remain open for posting of full preliminary results.

We ask for your patience as it may take some time to complete the initial count. We’ll post an update on our News page when full preliminary results are available.

Official election results will be declared and posted online at portmoody.ca/vote at approximately 4pm on Monday, October 17, 2022.

The City of Port Moody held a general local election to elect one mayor, six councillors, and two school trustees for a four-year term. Eligible voters could vote by mail, at one of two advance polls, or on General Voting Day (October 15, 2022).
