City seeks feedback on St. Johns Street multi-use path

The City is working to make St. Johns Street a more comfortable and convenient place for people to walk, cycle, and access transit. We are asking businesses and the public for feedback on the features of a new multi-use path between Albert Street and Moody Street as well as the option for a two-way bike path between Kyle Street and Grant Street.

Engage Port Moody, our public engagement hub, is your source for information and the place where you can get involved. Visit engage.portmoody.ca/stjohns to:

  • learn more about the project;
  • register for an online information session; and
  • take our community survey.

We are hosting online information sessions for businesses on February 24, 2022 at 11am to 12noon and 7pm to 8pm. An online information session for the public is scheduled for March 2, 2022 at 7pm to 8pm. Advance registration is required.

Our community survey will be open until March 25, 2022 and your input will help us finalize the design for the multi-use path. Construction is expected to start fall 2022.

This multi-use path is the first phase of the St. Johns Street Redesign Project, which is based on recommendations from the 2017 Master Transportation Plan.
