City Hall walk-in service suspended, recreation programs cancelled through November 23, 2020
In response to orders issued by the Provincial Health Officer on November 7, 2020, the City of Port Moody has temporarily suspended in-person service at City Hall (100 Newport Drive) and cancelled all recreation programs effective immediately through November 23, 2020. During this two-week period, the Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Road) and City Hall, including the Galleria, will be closed to the public; Port Moody Public Library remains open.
City staff will continue to deliver services and are readily available by email or phone to assist the public. As well, a number of services are available online. Please visit portmoody.ca to find information, pay bills, apply for a business licence, or submit a permit application online.
For cancelled recreation programs, the City will either extend the program when the Recreation Complex re-opens or provide a full refund, depending on the program. If you are registered in an affected program, you will receive an email update with program-specific information. Fitness memberships will be placed on hold for the duration of the closure. Please email recreation@portmoody.ca or call 604-469-4556 if you have any questions.
Be sure to stay active! Join us weekday mornings at 9:15am for a live-streamed fitness class via Facebook or Instagram, or visit portmoody.ca/fitness to check out archived videos hosted by some of your favourite City of Port Moody fitness instructors.
Council meetings will continue to be held electronically and live-streamed at portmoody.ca/watchlive. Council Chambers will be open to the public during Council meetings in case residents wish to attend in person.
