Access to the Recreation Complex is limited to those patrons who have registered for a program or activity. Please note that face masks are required in all public indoor settings including recreation centres.

Due to COVID-19 protocols such as physical distancing, spots in our fitness classes and weight room sessions are limited and, as a result, demand for these programs is high. New late arrival and no-show procedures are being implemented to promote equal access to recreation fitness opportunities by discouraging individuals who have reserved a spot from arriving late or failing to notify us if they are unable to attend. Starting February 1, 2021, all customers will be required to cancel their fitness class or weight room session at least one hour (60 minutes) before the class or session is scheduled to begin. You can cancel your spot by calling 604-469-4556 or by emailing recreation@portmoody.ca. Please ensure you tell us your full name and the name of the specific class or weight room session, as well as the date and time of your booking. Registered Low Intensity Fitness and Yoga Classes | ||||||||
In response to the guidelines issued by the Provincial Health Officer we are pleased to be able to offer low intensity Strength and Stretch fitness classes as well as Hatha yoga classes. Participants must register for each class individually through our online booking system. Registration will begin 24 hours prior to each class. Class schedules and descriptions can also be found online. Please note:

Registered weight room sessions | ||||||||
Register for a 60-minute session using our online booking system. Registration will open on Fridays at 8am for sessions in the following week (Monday to Sunday). Drop-in service is not available. The price per session will be $5.60 for non-members. If you’re a member, you’ll be able to use your fitness pass. Before/during your session:

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced runner or walker, SportMedBC’s InTraining Program will help you reach your fitness & health goals in a safe and supportive environment with this 13 week training program.
