Paying Your Property Taxes

Each year Port Moody homeowners must pay property taxes and this year's due date is July 2, 2025.

Payments must be received by the City on or before July 2, 2025. A 5% penalty will be applied to outstanding amounts after July 2, 2025. After September 15, 2025 an additional 5% penalty will be applied to all outstanding amounts, including unclaimed Home Owner Grants.

Please note that there is a potential Canada Post labour disruption as early as May 22, 2025. If you are mailing your property tax payment through Canada Post, it may not arrive prior to the deadline.

Please review the payment options on the back of your property tax notice for alternative payment methods. Payments received by the City after the July 2 due date will incur a penalty.
