Port Moody’s Adult Recreation programs are designed to help you stay active, learn new skills, and connect with the community. Explore our Adult Registered Programs, Drop-in Adult Sports, and Drop-in Adult Recreation opportunities. Whether you’re looking to get active, creative, or social, there’s something for everyone!

 Adult Registered Programs

Our registered programs offer a wide variety of options to explore your interests and stay engaged:

  • Adult Sports: Includes recreational activities like pickleball and bocce.
  • Educational Programs: Creative writing, introductory art classes, workshops, and self-care programs.
  • Performing Arts: Ballroom dancing, line dancing, and Dance for Health.
  • General Activities: Walking groups, guided hikes, and more.

Drop-in Adult and Senior Sports
All adult sports are inclusive and played at a fun, recreational level. Spots can be booked using our online booking system or by calling 604-469-4556 during office hours. Booking opens 25 hours in advance to reserve your spot for the next day.

Available Sports:

  • Basketball: Played Sunday and Monday evenings.
  • Soccer: Played Tuesday evenings.
  • Floor Hockey: Played Wednesday evenings.
  • Pickleball: Available multiple times throughout the week, including afternoons and evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Badminton: Played Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
  • Walking Soccer: Played Wednesday and Friday mornings.
  • Wheelchair Sports: Played Wednesday evenings.
  • Volleyball: Played Sunday evenings.
Drop-in Adult Recreation

Take part in casual, drop-in activities perfect for relaxation and social connection. Programs include:

Available Activities:

  • Canasta: Played Monday afternoons.
  • Tai Chi: Played Tuesday and Friday mornings.
  • Bridge: Played Tuesday afternoons.
  • Table Tennis: Available multiple times throughout the week, including afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Ballroom Dancing: Played Wednesday mornings.
  • Ukulele: Played Wednesday afternoons.
  • Belly Dance Basics: Played Thursday evenings.
