Swim for Life Lessons

Summer 2025 aquatics lesson registration

• Port Moody Residents: Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 8am
• Non-Residents: Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 8am

Registration Requirements

1. Returning Participants
   If your child has taken lessons with us and hasn’t completed lessons elsewhere since, your account is ready to go.

2. New Participants or Returning from Lessons Elsewhere
   To update your account before registration, choose one of the following:

• Bring the most recent report card or completed swim assessment to the front desk at the Recreation Complex for an immediate update.

• Email a scanned copy or photo of the report card/assessment to recreation@portmoody.ca. Include:

  • Participant’s full name and age

  • Primary account holder’s name and phone number

Please allow up to 72 hours for processing before registration. Once submitted, call 604.469.4556 to confirm your account is ready.

Full refunds

A full refund will be issued if you withdraw one week or more before the lesson, program or camp start date. If withdrawing exactly one week before, it must be done before the program’s start time. No withdrawal fee applies in these cases.

No refunds

No refunds will be given for the following programs if less than one week’s notice is provided:

• Camps
• Swim lessons
• Private lessons
• Workshops
• One-day programs/events

Pro-rated refunds

For all other multi-day programs, pro-rated refunds are available up to the start of the third class. A $10 withdrawal fee will apply.

Additional notes

Refunds are returned to the original form of payment.
A $10 withdrawal fee is charged for cancellations made less than one week before the program starts.

No refunds will be granted after the third class begins.
