Rocky Point Park

Rocky Point Park at 2800 Murray Street is Port Moody's best-known park. It's a popular destination where you can enjoy the Burrard Inlet from our recreational pier, play at the playground, or hike along the Shoreline Trail. You can also rent a kayak or paddleboard, enjoy fish and chips and an ice cream cone, or sit on the patio at a waterfront restaurant. Park and shelter bookings are also available.
The spray parks are usually open for the May long weekend, and typically remain open until September. When open, spray park hours are 9am to 8pm, weather permitting.
REMINDER: Recreational use of drones is not allowed in parks. Section 15 (e) of the Parks and Community Facilities Rules and Regulations Bylaw No. 2894 states that: "No person shall engage in activities involving high speed projectiles, including golf, archery, war games, radio controlled aircraft or cars in a Park or Community Facility unless such activities are specifically authorized by the Manager of Parks or the Community Facilities Manager."

Rocky Point Park Master Plan
The Rocky Point Park Master Plan, endorsed by City Council in 2024, is a framework for future planning and decision-making around park facilities, trails, and open spaces. It is a strategic, living document that articulates a vision for the park, highlights priorities and long-term aspirations, and sets out a clear implementation plan. The Rocky Point Park Master Plan will guide the planning and design of new park features as well as upgrades to existing infrastructure based on community needs with a 10-year outlook. This Master Plan is a forward-looking document, designed to initiate conversations that consider a vision extending beyond the 10-year time frame.
