Notice of Consideration: Development Variance Permit (84 Moody Street) – July 22, 2025

Where: Electronic meeting or by in-person attendance in Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 Newport Dr., Port Moody, B.C. (see portmoody.ca/councilmeetings for details and instructions)
Port Moody Council will consider approval of issuance of the following Development Variance Permit:
City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw, 2018, No. 2937:
- Varying Section 6.3.1 to reduce the minimum number of required off-street parking spaces for childcare use from 18 spaces to 8 spaces.
Copies of the permit and information package can be inspected online at any time and in person at the second-floor counter in City Hall, Monday to Friday, from July 4, 2025 to July 22, 2025 excluding statutory holidays, from 8:30am to 5pm. If you believe your property is affected by this Development Variance Permit application, you may comment directly to Council at the Regular Council Meeting on July 22, 2025, by joining the electronic meeting as a participant or attending in person. Visit portmoody.ca/councilmeetings for instructions on how to join the electronic meeting. You can also send a submission in writing by 12pm on July 22, 2025 by emailing clerks@portmoody.ca, by hard-copy mail to City Hall (c/o Clerk’s Office), or by faxing 604.469.4550.
