City honours winners of 2025 Spike Business Awards

On November 27, 2025, the City of Port Moody’s Economic Development and Tourism Committee presented the 2025 Spike Business Awards during a special ceremony held in the Inlet Theatre.
The Spike Business Awards celebrate and recognize the significant contributions of Port Moody’s business community. Between September 8 and October 10, 2025, nominations were accepted from the public for awards in five categories (City of the Arts Business, Business Impact, Puts Port Moody on the Map, Community Builder, and New Business) and from businesses via self-nomination for awards in two categories (Business of the Year and Lifetime Achievement).
“On behalf of Council and the Economic Development and Tourism Committee, I’d like to congratulate the winners of the 2025 Spike Business Awards and thank each business for their hard work and unique contributions,” said Mayor Meghan Lahti. “Port Moody’s businesses help to create a vibrant and prosperous community – they strengthen our municipal tax base, offer local employment opportunities, and make it easier for residents to access goods and services close to home. We’re lucky to have creative and innovative businesses in Port Moody that are committed to going above and beyond in serving their customers and their community.”
