Santa’s Christmas Ships

Brightly lit vessels will set off from Reed Point Marina at 7pm and parade past Rocky Point Pier and the Ioco shoreline. In past years the arrival of Santa’s Christmas Ships has coincided with the City of Port Moody’s Holiday Cheer at the Pier event. Help Port Moody’s firefighters raise money for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Members of Port Moody Firefighters Local 2399 will be chipping trees by donation ($5 minimum) from 10am to 4pm at this drive-through event. Centralized Recycling Day

Recycle your wrap (and so much more!) at the City’s Centralized Recycling Day. Between 10am and 3pm, Port Moody residents can drop off paper gift wrap and boxes, Styrofoam and packaging, and plastic film. Please note that Styrofoam and plastic film must be bagged separately. Ribbons, bows, foil gift wrap, regular household garbage, and glass will not be accepted.
