98 per cent of Port Moody residents rate quality of life as good or very good in 2022 Citizen Survey

According to the 2022 City of Port Moody Citizen Survey, ninety-eight per cent of Port Moody residents rate their overall quality of life as ‘good’ or ‘very good.’

Since 2012, the City of Port Moody has conducted a Citizen Survey every two years to ask residents how satisfied they are with City performance, services, and overall quality of life in Port Moody. Comparing the survey results over time allows the City to understand how residents’ attitudes and priorities may be changing, identify new or emerging issues facing the community, and assess the progress the City is making in addressing key issues.

Between April 12 and May 9, 2022, Ipsos Public Affairs conducted a random telephone survey of 400 Port Moody residents, aged 18 and older. New this year, 644 respondents also completed the survey online between April 20 and May 13, 2022. Where comparable, the 2022 telephone survey results were tracked and reported against those from the previous Citizen Surveys. The City did not conduct a Citizen Survey in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
