2022-23 holiday service schedule
December 23 update to the above schedule – due to inclement weather, the Library will be closed December 23, 2022.
Hours for City facilities and services vary through the holidays, except for essential services. Please see the table above for schedules for the following services and facilities: Port Moody Fire Rescue, Port Moody Police, City Hall, Port Moody Public Library, City Public Works Yard, waste collection, Port Moody Recreation Complex, and Kyle Centre.
The first day of altered hours is Friday, December 23, 2022, when City Hall and the Public Works Yard will close at noon. The Recreation Complex will be open until 10pm. On Saturday, December 24, 2022 the Library will be open from 9am until 3pm, and the Recreation Complex will be open from 8am until 4pm.
Waste collection – due to cancellations on December 20, 21, and 22, all your carts – garbage, recycling, and green waste – will be collected Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30, 2022. There will be no waste collection Friday, December 23 through Monday, December 26, and Saturday, December 31, 2022 through Monday, January 2, 2023. Snow and ice – City crews respond to road snow and ice conditions on a priority basis starting with major roads and bus routes. Please see portmoody.ca/snowandice for more information, including a map of priority routes.
Please note that City of Port Moody employees use earned leave or leave without pay during reduced hours over the holidays.
Regular schedules for all City services and facilities will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Mayor, Council, and staff look forward to serving you in the New Year.

In case of an emergency requiring ambulance, police, or fire rescue services, call 9-1-1. Front office non-emergency support at Port Moody Fire-Rescue follows the same holiday service schedule as City Hall. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1 for the quickest response.
In case of a public works, parks, or environmental issue (e.g. water leak, flood, contaminated stream), please report the problem online at portmoody.ca/reportaproblem or call 604-469-4574.
