City Manager Anna Mathewson presented Port Moody’s 2025 Annual Report to members of Council at the June 23, 2026 Regular Council Meeting.

“I’m pleased to share the 2025 Annual Report, which outlines our commitment to the core services that impact residents’ lives every day as well as major projects that enhance City services and facilities,” said Mathewson. “The achievements highlighted in the document are made possible by the expertise and dedication of our professional staff, who are committed to providing a high level of customer service for Port Moody residents, business owners, and visitors.”

The City publishes an annual report each year in accordance with British Columbia’s Community Charter. The 2025 Annual Report contains the City’s financial statements, an independent auditor’s report, and a comprehensive statistical analysis. It also details how the City performed against its goals and objectives, as stated in the 2023-2026 Council Strategic Plan, highlights the achievements of each City department, and celebrates the positive community impact of completed work.

“This report reflects our ongoing commitment to parks and trails planning and our strong focus on climate action and sustainable transportation,” said Mayor Meghan Lahti. “And in 2025, we made significant progress on updating Port Moody’s Official Community Plan, which has since been finalized and adopted by Council. We are now working to achieve the long-term vision articulated in the Plan, which was informed by input collected via broad and far-reaching community engagement. Whether you live or work in Port Moody, I encourage you to read the Annual Report to learn about the services, programs, and projects that contributed to a healthy, vibrant, and resilient community in 2025.”
