Registration Information 

As a pilot project for summer and fall 2024, Port Moody residents will have priority access to register in any City of Port Moody recreation programs where advance registration is required, including ice sports, camps, and aquatics.

Drop-in recreation activities will continue to be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis for residents and non-residents alike.

We’ve made some changes to the categories and headings—but don’t worry, you can still find it by using the search tool. 

Once you're in the online registration system, you can use the panel on the left side of your screen to look up programs by keyword or use the filters to narrow down your search.

Drop-in Activities

Registration is highly recommended to guarantee a spot, drop-ins will be allowed if space permits. Participants must register for each activity individually through our online booking system or by phone during office hours at (604)469-4556 beginning 25 hours in advance of your desired activity time.

Here's how to create your account: 

  1. Click on “Create an Account
  2. Enter your name and details. Make sure that the primary contact is over 19 years of age.
  3. Enter details for all of your family members. Please note that you will not be able to change birth dates online after entering them for the first time, changes will require proof of age at our facility.
  4. Emails from our new system will come from communication@perfectmind.com

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 

  1.  How can I find out what my password is?
    • Go to the "Login" screen and press "Forgot your password" and follow the instructions. Check your email inbox for mail with the subject line: "Your Login Information for City of Port Moody” or “Your Password”.  The email will be sent from communication@perfectmind.com and will include your temporary assigned password to login.
  2. What if I don't have an email address?
    • You can set up your account and register in person or over the phone at the Recreation Complex or Kyle Centre
  3. How will customers' personal information be secured in the new registration system?
    • Our system meets the industry standard for encryption and security measures to protect people’s personal information. 

    • At the same time, we strongly encourage our users to choose a strong password and also be diligent in protecting their personal  information and account details.

 Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Refund and Withdrawal Fee Policy

A full refund will be provided when the withdrawal occurs one week or more before the start of the program or camp.  If you are withdrawing one week before the start date, the withdrawal must occur before the start time of the program to get the full refund.  A withdrawal fee will not be charged.

For Camps ● Swim Lessons ● Private Lessons ● Workshops ● One-day programs/events, there will be no refund with less than one week notice.

Pro-rated refunds will be provided for all other programs up to the start of the third class. A $10 withdrawal fee will apply.

Refund is defined as returning of fees to the original form of payment. A fee of $10.00 will be charged for all withdrawals from a program less than one week before the start of the program. This fee will be charged until the start of the third class. No refunds will be granted after the start of the third class.

Exception to the Refund Policy: Early Learners Playschool requires one-month notice, in writing, at the beginning of the month. September payment is non-refundable.

How to Withdraw from a Program Online

It is now possible to withdraw online from a registered activity:  

  • log into your account and select the person who you would like to withdraw
  • scroll down to "schedules" and click to expand
  • the activity will appear in the calendar, however you need to "switch to list view" and then find the activity you would like to withdraw from
  • then click on "Actions" on the right hand side and select withdraw
  • if you experience problems, please call us at 604-469-4556, if your call goes to voicemail you must leave a message
  • Ice Sport programs are not available for online withdraws, please visit or call the recreation complex
