Registered Drop-in Activities

Registered drop-in activities include activities such as fitness classes, drop-in sports in the gymnasium and public skating. Participants must register for each activity individually through our online booking system or by phone during office hours at 604-469-4556. Registration will take place 24 hours in advance of your desired activity time time with the exception of the Weight Room where registration will open on Fridays at 8am for sessions in the following week (Monday to Sunday).

Please note you must call us at 604-469-4556 to cancel or withdraw from a drop-in activity.

IMPORTANT! Know before you go

Before you come down to the Recreation Complex, please take a look at our map showing the dedicated entrances for specific program areas. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we’re asking you to use the assigned entrance noted in the description for your program of choice – you’ll see this information during the online registration process.  Only people who are registered for a class, activity, or program are permitted inside the Recreation Complex – the building remains closed to the general public.

Here's how to create your account: 

  1. Click on “Create an Account
  2. Enter your name and details. Make sure that the primary contact is over 19 years of age.
  3. Enter details for all of your family members. Please note that you will not be able to change birth dates online after entering them for the first time, changes will require proof of age at our facility.
  4. Emails from our new system will come from communication@perfectmind.com

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) 

  1.  How can I find out what my password is?
    • Go to the "Login" screen and press "Forgot your password" and follow the instructions. Check your email inbox for mail with the subject line: "Your Login Information for City of Port Moody” or “Your Password”.  The email will be sent from communication@perfectmind.com and will include your temporary assigned password to login.
  2. What if I don't have an email address?
    • You can set up your account and register in person or over the phone at the Recreation Complex or Kyle Centre
  3. How will customers' personal information be secured in the new registration system?
    • Our system meets the industry standard for encryption and security measures to protect people’s personal information. 

    • At the same time, we strongly encourage our users to choose a strong password and also be diligent in protecting their personal  information and account details.

 Program refund Policy

 

We will gladly refund your account, for any reason, within the first or second class of our registered programs. Refunds will not be issued after the second class. For camps, workshops, private lessons and 1-day programs including Pro-D days, one week notice is required.

Early Learners Playschool requires one-month notice, in writing, at the beginning of the month. Refunds for programs paid by cash will be issued in the form of a cheque mailed out to participants once refund request has been processed. Refunds will be prorated accordingly.

Withdrawal Fee Policy

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily adjusted our refund policy.  Withdrawals with more than one weeks’ notice will follow our regular refund policy and will receive a full refund.  Requests for camp refunds after the required one week notice or after camp start date, will need to call 604-469-4556 to request a refund.  If you withdraw after a camp has already started, your refund will be prorated accordingly and the $10 withdrawal fee will be waived. Please contact us at 604-469-4556 if you have questions or would like to request a refund. 

How to Withdraw from a Program Online

It is possible to withdraw online 24 hrs after you have made payment. To withdraw from a program that you’re registered in online you need to do the following:

Log into your account and select the person whose course information you want to view. Scroll down to "schedules" and click to expand. The courses which you have registered for will appear in the calendar, however you need to "switch to list view" and then find the course you would like to withdraw from and click on "Actions" on the right hand side and select withdraw.  There are a few courses where we are experiencing technical issues and the "withdraw button will not appear, plus some courses do not allow online withdrawals. If you experience problems, please call us at 604-469-4556.
