We offer a variety of recreational activities for preschool children from newborn to age five at recreation facilities through the city. This includes registered music, dance, crafts, and sports programs, seasonal activities, Jungle Gym and childminding while your workout.

Our offerings include drop-in Jungle Gym, Mini Sports and Games and  Gymnastics, plus convenient childminding services during your workouts, and exciting birthday party packages led by experienced leaders.

Drop-in Activities

Get your little ones moving and having fun with our Drop-in Preschool Programs at the Recreation Complex. We offer the following drop-in preschool programs:

  • Drop-in Mini Sports and Games (Ages 1-4)
  • Drop-in Gymnastics - Preschool (Ages 18 months to 5 years)
  • Jungle Gym (Ages Newborn to 5 years)
  • Drop-in Soccer (Ages 3-5)

For the days, times, and detailed program descriptions, view the live schedule. Registration for all drop-in activities is highly recommended to guarantee a spot, though drop-ins will be allowed if space permits. Registration opens 25 hours before class time.

 
Childminding

While you attend a fitness class or work out in the weight room, our staff can provide a safe place for your child to play. For ages newborn to 5 years.

  • Weekdays: 9 AM - 12 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:15 AM - 11 AM

You can book your timeslot online or call 604-469-4556. Registration is recommended to guarantee a spot, though drop-ins will be allowed if space permits. Booking opens 25 hours in advance of your desired timeslot.

Birthday parties

We offer a two birthday party options for children between the ages of 3-11, Party on the Mountain for 3-8 year olds and Party at the Complex for ages 5-11. All of our parties include an experienced leader.
