- On August 17, 2025, St. Johns Street, between Douglas and Moody streets, will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 6am to 10pm. Parking is restricted on side streets around the event area, and temporary bus stops are located along Clarke Street. For more information, please see our traffic management summary.
- Accessible parking spots are available at Moody Elementary School (2717 St Johns Street).
- Park your bike for free between 12pm and 5pm with The Bicycle Valet, brought to you by TransLink and operated by BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation).
- Check TransLink’s Trip Planner for transit routes and schedules.
- Vehicle parking, available at Westcoast Express Park and Ride (65 Williams Street), will be extremely limited. If you choose to drive, consider carpooling with friends or neighbours who plan to attend, to reduce the number of cars on the road.

Bring the kids! We’ll have a climbing wall, mobile gym, inflatable slide, wacky obstacle course, and carnival sports games.
Community booths
Get to know the people serving your community! There will be over 100 booths presented by local businesses, artisans, and non-profit groups. You’ll also find family-friendly seating areas and a variety of food and drink options available from restaurants, cafés, and food trucks, including licensed patios for visitors aged 19+.
City of Port Moody booths
Visit us at the City of Port Moody booth. Port Moody kids aged five to 12 years old can apply for a chance to be mayor for a day in November 2025, in celebration of World Children’s Day. Our Recreation team will be hosting a youth lounge, and Port Moody Fire Rescue, Port Moody Public Library, and Port Moody Police will each have a booth. Be sure to stop by!
TransLink buses
The TransLink team will be at Car-Free Day with their outreach and historical buses featuring fun interior décor, games, and transit information.

- Accessible porta potties are located on the south side at Queens Street (by the giant slide), and the north side at Kyle Street, Mary Street, and Grant Street.
- Water bottle filling stations (including Metro Vancouver’s Water Wagon), misting stations, and dog water bowls are located at Kyle Street and Mary Street.
- Seating areas with tables and tents are located at Grant Street, Kyle Street, and Mary Street. Accessible spots are available in each seating area.
- Park your bike for free between 12pm and 5pm with The Bicycle Valet, brought to you by TransLink and operated by BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation).
- The Canucks Autism Network is operating a sensory friendly space on the south side of St. Johns Street at Grant Street.
- First aid is provided by Odyssey. There is one first aid tent located on the north side of St. Johns Street at Mary Street. First aid staff will also be walking the event site.
- West Coast Family Centres (WFC) are running a bottle and nursing station at booth #631 on the south side of St. Johns Street between at Grant Street. Families can bottle feed or nurse in comfort at this private and calm area.
- Questions? Look for information booth umbrellas located at Queens Street or Moody Street or ask a staff member wearing a yellow shirt.
