Car-Free Day

Port Moody’s Car-Free Day is back! Join us on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets, from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

This huge street celebration is filled with local businesses, musicians, delicious food, and a family-friendly activities. Members of the public are encouraged to leave their car at home, and walk, bike, or take public transit to the celebration.

The safety of our residents and visitors is our top priority. As we do every year, the City is working with Port Moody Police and a traffic management company to ensure that security measures are in place for Car-Free Day.
