Visit Engage Port Moody to learn more and give your feedback on significant development applications

Are you interested in learning more about development projects in our city? Do you want to give your feedback on a proposed development? 

We are pleased to share that you can now more easily find information and provide your feedback on significant development proposals by visiting Engage Port Moody, our online public engagement hub.

Hosting significant development projects on Engage Port Moody will help us meet our goals of providing improved access to and transparency of information on proposed development, and enhancing awareness of opportunities for public input on these development applications.

What projects will be posted on Engage Port Moody?

To start, we have three development applications open for input: 2933-3005 Murray Street (PCI), Moody Centre TOD Area, and Coronation Park. We invite you to share your feedback on these projects using the Comment Card on each project page.

We have also included two more projects that are at a more advanced phase in the City’s review process – Woodland Park and Westport Village. While both of these projects have passed the point of early public input, we recognize their ongoing significance to the community so have posted them to Engage Port Moody to provide you with a consolidated source for project information.

Going forward we will continue to post new development applications for projects that are six storeys and higher.

Here’s how you can get involved

Visit the new landing page to see what development applications are open for input. Click on a proposed development to review the project summary and resources provided, which may include application documents, staff reports, City policies and plans, and links to external development project websites. After you’ve reviewed the application, use the following tools to share your thoughts and ask questions:

• Comment Card – using this mini-survey tool, tell us what you think about the proposed development. We want to know how the development proposal impacts you, what you think could be improved, what you like about it, and how well you think it meets the key goals and long term vision for our city. Feedback submitted in the Comment Card will not be posted publicly – it will be provided anonymously in a report to Council, which can be read by the public.

• Q & A – this is your chance to ask questions directly to our City planning team. Answers to your questions will be posted on the project page to help build community knowledge about the project.
