Slide into summer at Canada Day celebration in Rocky Point Park

The City of Port Moody invites residents and visitors to a Canada Day celebration featuring free entertainment, including live music, a community art project, and a giant inflatable slide. The fun starts on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 9:15 pm with Big Sugar and continues on Monday, July 1, 2019 with activities for all ages at the Golden Spike Days Festival in Rocky Point Park (2800-block Murray Street).

The City of Port Moody presents Canadian roots rock reggae band Big Sugar as the headline performer for Canada Day celebrations at the Golden Spike Days Festival. The show is happening on June 30 as Canada Day (July 1) falls on a Monday this year. Whether they’re playing old favourites like “If I Had My Way” or new songs like “Anything Is Possible,” Big Sugar is sure to rock the house and keep you dancing as you celebrate Canada’s 152nd birthday.
