Recreation programs cancelled through 3pm today (January 17) due to winter conditions

Due to current winter weather conditions, the City of Port Moody is cancelling all recreation programs scheduled through 3pm today, January 17, 2024, including the Afterschool Club, Youth Club, and Early Learners Playschool. This decision has been made with the safety of our participants and staff in mind. 

Patrons enrolled in registered programs have been notified by email. 

The Port Moody Recreation Complex, including the weight room, will remain open, and certain drop-in programs will continue as scheduled. Please note that we are not able to offer childminding today. Please visit portmoody.ca/signmeup to check if a specific drop-in program is running. Kyle Centre is closed and will remain closed through 5pm. 

If it becomes necessary to cancel programs starting after 3pm at the Recreation Complex and after 5pm at Kyle Centre, we will notify registered participants via email by 12pm.

City Hall and the Port Moody Public Library are open and following regularly scheduled operating hours.
