Recreation Complex Evacuation Drill

The City has scheduled two evacuation drills at the Recreation Complex on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. The drills will occur at 2:30pm and 9:15pm to test emergency procedures during both daytime and evening scenarios. The evacuation portion of each drill will last approximately 30 minutes.

The drill times have been carefully chosen to minimize disruption to Recreation Complex patrons. However, if you are at the complex during either drill, please follow instructions from City staff. Thank you for your co-operation.

The City is constantly working to ensure we’re prepared for emergencies, and evacuation drills are an important part of this process.
