Four-hour parking limit at Rocky Point Park will be in effect until 11pm daily starting April 30

Starting Friday, April 30, 2021, parking at Rocky Point Park will be restricted to four hours from 7am to 11pm daily, with no overnight parking allowed.

These restrictions will apply to the main parking lot off Murray Street in front of Rocky Point Pool and the secondary lot off Esplanade Avenue in front of The Boathouse Restaurant.

Currently, parking is restricted to four hours from 7am to 7pm daily, with no overnight parking, in the main lot. In the secondary lot, a two-hour parking limit is currently in effect 24 hours a day.

The new restrictions are being implemented to increase turnover, help provide more equitable access to the park, and create consistency between the two lots. There is no change to parking regulations for the boat launch parking area.

Signs will be updated in both parking lots – visitors are reminded to check signs for parking restrictions before leaving their vehicle. Violators may be ticketed $100 and/or towed.
