Come Play in our Parks – enjoy free sports, crafts, and games in two Port Moody parks this summer

Play in our Parks offers free fun for all ages this summer! Join staff from the City’s Recreation Division for sports, crafts, games, face painting, and more in two Port Moody parks between July 7 and August 29, 2025.

Staff will be onsite at Heritage Mountain Park (20 Parkglen Place) or Westhill Park (203 Westhill Place) on weekdays (excluding statutory holidays) from 9:30am to 2:30pm, weather permitting, according to the following schedule:

Play is essential for healthy child development, fostering creativity, social skills, and physical well-being. Through this free program, the City aims to encourage play in our parks and provide opportunities for families to connect, learn, and thrive together in Port Moody’s community spaces. Children and adults of all ages are welcome.

As programming may be affected by weather or air quality, please check portmoody.ca/play or the City’s social media channels before heading to the park in case of a cancellation. Please note that City staff are not responsible for supervising children. Parents and guardians are responsible for all children in their care who participate in Play in our Parks.
