Solid waste: Wednesday zone carts to be collected January 24

Due to weather conditions, the City has cancelled waste collection for the Wednesday zone, which means there will be no pick-up on January 17, 2024. All carts – garbage, recycling, and green waste – will be collected next week on Wednesday, January 24. Glass bins will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day (Wednesday, February 14).

For the Thursday zone, we will provide a service update on the morning of January 18 via our website, social media channels, and our Solid Waste App.

Sign up for the PoMobile Solid Waste App to get service alerts, including a notification when it’s your collection day. Go to portmoody.ca/solidwasteapp to sign up today.

Our top priority is your safety and the safety of City of Port Moody staff. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we adapt to changing weather conditions.
