City Manager Anna Mathewson presented Port Moody’s 2024 Annual Report to members of Council at the June 24, 2025 Regular Council Meeting.

“I’m pleased to share the 2024 Annual Report as it shows City staff’s commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming community,” said City Manager Anna Mathewson. “Our dedicated and professional staff provided high-quality core services and completed several projects identified as priorities in the Corporate Project Plan, which supports Council’s Strategic Plan. I invite Port Moody residents to read the full report to learn about the excellent work that was accomplished over the last year.”

The City publishes an annual report each year in accordance with British Columbia’s Community Charter. The 2024 Annual Report contains the City’s financial statements, an independent auditor’s report, and a comprehensive statistical analysis. It also details how the City performed against its goals and objectives, as stated in the 2023-2026 Council Strategic Plan, and highlights the achievements of each City department.

“In 2024, Council and City staff continued to focus on the strategic priority areas set out in the 2023-2026 Council Strategic Plan: sustainable core services, healthy community development, resilient natural environment, and vibrant and prosperous community,” said Mayor Meghan Lahti. “I encourage everyone to read the 2024 Annual Report to find out how we met our strategic goals in these priority areas. I’m proud of the work that’s been completed as we strive to ensure Port Moody is a liveable community today and in the future.”
