On behalf of Council, City staff, and the community, Mayor Meghan Lahti offers deepest condolences to the family and friends of Qayqayt (qiqéyt) First Nation Chief Rhonda Larrabee, who passed away on April 5, 2026. To honour the life of Chief Larrabee, flags at civic facilities have been lowered and will remain at half-mast until April 15.
